Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ASAP Motion collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information when you use the ASAP Motion website, editor, project storage, AI generation tools, rendering tools, export tools, templates, and related services available through https://asapmotion.co.

Effective date: June 3, 2026 Contact: asapmotiondev@gmail.com

1. Scope

This Policy applies to information collected through ASAP Motion's website and product surfaces that link to this Policy. It does not govern third-party websites, services, or tools that are not controlled by ASAP Motion, even if they are linked from or integrated with the Service.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and identity data, such as your name, email address, profile image, account identifiers, and sign-in state.
  • Project and creative data, such as prompts, scene titles, generated code, project messages, editable properties, aspect ratios, duration settings, and export settings.
  • Reference and upload data, such as images, video, thumbnails, and other assets that you attach to a generation, correction, render, or export request.
  • Usage and transaction data, such as plan tier, credits, export counts, model selection, invite-code use, timestamps, and support interactions.
  • Technical and device data, such as IP address, browser and device information, approximate location inferred from IP, request metadata, logs, error reports, and performance diagnostics.
  • Analytics data, such as pageviews, feature interactions, referral context, and product event data associated with anonymous or signed-in identifiers.
  • Browser-side persistence data, such as session storage values and IndexedDB records used to preserve local editor state, local media items, and undo or history state on your device.

3. Sources of information

We collect information:

  • directly from you when you sign up, sign in, create projects, contact support, upload assets, share a link, or request an export
  • automatically from your browser, device, and interactions with the Service
  • from service providers that help us operate the Service, such as authentication, hosting, database, analytics, email, and AI providers
  • from other users if they share a project link or otherwise invite you into a workflow

4. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • create and administer accounts and authenticate users
  • operate the editor, save projects, sync scenes and project messages, and restore your workflow
  • process prompts, reference media, and model requests to generate, correct, render, or export creative output
  • apply plan rules, invite controls, credits, export limits, and abuse protections
  • analyze product usage, troubleshoot failures, detect fraud, monitor reliability, and improve the Service
  • send transactional communications such as account, support, onboarding, or service-related emails
  • enforce our Terms, comply with law, protect users, and protect the rights, property, and security of ASAP Motion and others

5. AI processing and creative workflows

If you use AI-powered features, the prompts, project context, and reference media you submit may be sent to third-party model or infrastructure providers to fulfill your request. That can include text prompts, prompt history, image or video attachments, model choice, and related request metadata needed to generate or validate output.

ASAP Motion may also process generated output, prompt excerpts, request metadata, and error details to validate outputs, repair broken generations, debug failures, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. We try to minimize sensitive data in logs, but support and engineering systems may still contain excerpts of prompts or project state when necessary for troubleshooting.

We do not recommend submitting regulated, highly sensitive, or confidential material unless you have independently determined that doing so is lawful and appropriate for your use case.

6. Local browser storage

ASAP Motion uses browser-side storage to support the editor experience. This may include cookies, session storage, and IndexedDB. For example, we may use short-lived cookies to preserve your post-login return path, session storage to carry landing-to-editor state, and IndexedDB on your device to preserve uploaded local media or undo and history state for a project.

Some local media you upload into the editor may remain only on your device unless and until you attach that media to a generation, correction, render, or export request. When you do attach it to a request, it may be transmitted to our servers and processors to perform that request.

7. Cookies and analytics technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, scripts, SDKs, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, secure the Service, remember state, measure usage, and understand how the product is performing.

ASAP Motion currently includes product analytics tooling such as PostHog, and may also include Google Analytics if enabled in the applicable environment. These tools may collect device identifiers, pageview data, interaction data, referrer data, and account-linked event data.

At this time, ASAP Motion does not represent that it automatically responds to every browser "Do Not Track" signal or Global Privacy Control signal across all surfaces. If our data practices change in a way that legally requires a specific signal-based response, we may add that functionality and update this Policy.

8. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to:

  • service providers and contractors that help us deliver the Service, such as hosting, database, authentication, analytics, delivery, email, rendering, and AI-processing providers
  • other users when you intentionally use features that share access, such as copying or distributing a project link that allows another signed-in user to open or clone that project
  • professional advisers, insurers, auditors, or counterparties in connection with legal, tax, security, financing, merger, acquisition, or asset-sale matters
  • government authorities, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service

We do not state in this Policy that ASAP Motion "sells" or "shares" personal information in the specialized sense used by every state privacy law. If our practices trigger those rights under applicable law, we will need to provide the notices and choice mechanisms that the law requires.

9. Third-party services we rely on

Depending on the feature you use, personal information may be processed by third-party providers we use to operate ASAP Motion. These may include providers for authentication, database storage, hosting and content delivery, analytics, transactional email, and AI or rendering infrastructure.

Based on the current product stack, these providers may include services such as Clerk, Supabase, Cloudflare, PostHog, Google Analytics if enabled, Resend for transactional email, and configured AI/model providers used to fulfill generation or analysis requests. Providers can change over time as the product evolves.

10. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your projects, administer your account, preserve billing and usage records, secure the platform, resolve disputes, comply with law, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods vary by data type. For example, account and project records may persist until deletion or account closure, analytics and logs may be retained according to provider settings and operational needs, and temporary render artifacts may be deleted on shorter rolling schedules. Backups and residual copies may persist for a limited time after deletion.

11. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. These may include access controls, authenticated APIs, environment-based secrets, transport encryption, provider-managed security controls, and data minimization in some logging flows.

No security program is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security or prevent every unauthorized act, hardware failure, software bug, or misuse.

12. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to:

  • know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or retain
  • request access to or a copy of certain personal information
  • request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • request deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions
  • opt out of certain processing or disclosures if required by law
  • limit the use of certain sensitive personal information if applicable law grants that right
  • receive equal treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights

You may also control certain information directly by updating account details, deleting projects, clearing browser storage on your device, or disabling cookies through browser settings, though some features may not function correctly if you do so.

To exercise a privacy request, contact asapmotiondev@gmail.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

13. California privacy disclosures

California law may require additional disclosures for covered businesses. If and to the extent ASAP Motion is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of certain sales or sharing, limit certain sensitive-personal-information uses, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising those rights.

The categories of personal information described in this Policy are intended to help satisfy California-style category disclosures. These categories may have been collected, used, or disclosed for business or commercial purposes in the last 12 months, depending on your use of the Service.

Because ASAP Motion does not currently present a California-specific rights workflow inside the product, California residents should send requests to asapmotiondev@gmail.com. If applicable law later requires additional notices, links, or signal-based opt-out handling, the product and this Policy may need to be updated further.

14. International transfers

ASAP Motion and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. These countries may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. By using the Service, you understand that cross-border processing may occur, subject to applicable law.

15. Children's privacy

ASAP Motion is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally sufficient authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of this Policy, contact asapmotiondev@gmail.com.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, the law, or our practices. If we make a material change, we may update the effective date above and, if appropriate, provide additional notice by email, in-product message, or website notice.

17. Contact
